It’s one of those nights when my mind is just clogged and I can’t go to sleep. So instead of tossing and turning I decided to go downstairs gather up my ingredients, lock the kitchen door (to block off the noise incase you were wondering)  and make my son’s body butter. I use it as a body and hair moisturizer for him and it works just fine. I use it for rashes, dry skin, and even flu cream with added eucalyptus essential oil. It is a moisturising and healing butter. And No Shea Butter Is Not Over Rated –  Basically, body butters rejuvenate, moisturises and protects the skin. It has no water unlike emulsified creams and lotions. It provides a protective layer on the surface of the skin to prevent water/moisture loss hence it’s better used on a damp skin, using natural butters like Shea, mango, cocoa, tacuma etc that has a lot of vitamins, minerals, and omega 3,6,9 fatty acids benefits the skin. Hair and Skin Coconut Cream Souffle

This creamy souffle is just a thoroughly whipped natural butters and oils, Its is light, fluffy nourishing and very moisturizing, something for the hair and skin. I wanted to make a moisturizer that is hassle free, all the ingredients are readily available, price friendly and that was light enough for the my skin during summer and just heavy enough to tame my mane. The oils and butter I used are suitable for both hair and skin. My Recipe Coconut Oil 250g Cocoa Butter 50g Shea butter 50g Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil 50g Castor Oil 20g Argan Oil 20g Lavender Essential Oil Vitamin E Oil (A few drops) Hand Mixer How To Melt the cocoa butter, I melted mine in a microwave but you can use a double boiler. Chocolate and Roses Skin Cookie

I don’t know how I got this idea of a skin cookie, but this is it, it is so yummy and the smell of chocolate and roses will fill your senses.Anyway don’t let me bore you with some long story, here is the recipe, try it and enjoy!. Ingredients Raw unrefined cocoa butter 518g Raw unrefined shea butter 102g Beeswax 121g Dried red rose petals How to Just like you want to bake a cookie, line an oven tray or a flat plate with a paper liner and put aside. Put your cocoa butter and beeswax in a pan of double boiler or you can just melt in the microwave. When it is all melted, put the Shea butter in, the heat of the melted cocoa butter and beeswax will melt the Shea butter.
