Nourishing Facial Oil
If you’ve never tried using natural plant/flower oils on your face then its time to give it a go!, You can start by mixing a drop or two in your face moisturiser or your foundation for extra glow.
However, make sure you get the cold pressed oils, and possibly organic.
Coldpress oils like hempseed oil, watermelon seed oil, blueberry seed oil, olive squalane oil, safflower oil, Argan oil, jojoba oil have amazing skin benefit that can be used alone or a blended together.
This recipe is very simple yet effective facial oil. It is a blend of olive squalane and papaya seed oil, with the amazing coenzyme Q10 Plus E.
Olive Squalane is an excellent skin emollient that smoothes and softens skin. It is also similar to the skin sebum.
It is a deeply penetrating oil and increases skin elasticity. Olive squalane helps boost blood circulation, and promotes the formulation of collagen for a firmer, plumper skin.It has a very long shelf life.
Papaya Seed Oil is a fruit oil, extracted from the tiny seeds in a pawpaw fruit.
It is rich in omega 6 and 9 essential fatty acids, vitamins A and C and potassium. Its oleic properties are similar to that of olive oil so that means it s a stable oil with a 2-3 years shelf life.
Papaya seed oil contains an enzyme known as papain, which helps dissolve excess sebum and impurities on the skin. It gently removes dead skin cells and can be used on oily or problem skin.
Coenzyme Q10 plus E This is the combination of two major antioxidants. Coenzyme Q10 and vitamin E which are both known for proven skin protection from free radical damage.
It helps in skin cell regeneration and reducing the depth of wrinkles. This recipe contains zero fragrance and zero essential oil.
THE RECIPE
50% Olive Squalane Oil
2% Co enzyme Q10 plus E
48% Papaya Seed Oil
TOOLS NEEDED
Measuring scale
A clean glass bottle
Mixing jar and rod or spoon.
Measure out your ingredients, mix and pour in a glass bottle.
I used a 50ml clear glass with a pipette cover for easy dispensing.
And that’s it, you just made your beautiful facial oil, enjoy.
